when i got down at pasir ris today, going down the escalator, the JCDecaux board was displaying an ad.
"There is a calmness to a life lived in gratitude, a silent joy."
Ralph H. Blum
i then had sort of a conversation with God. and you know, even through such a quote, God can reveal himself so strongly.
have we lost the gratitude ! the gratitude we should have for the cross. and we need to live a life full of thanksgiving, for the one sacrifice at calvary, because a constant revelation and remembrance of the cross allows God's blessings to flow in our lives. Jesus lived a life of thanksgiving, just like when he multiplied the food to feed the 5000, he said thank you to the lord. and that thanksgiving, allowed the miracle to manifest !
and through that gratitude, grateful for the cross, we live a life of calmness, also known as peace. and this peace, resting in that the cross has covered us, that only blessings shall befall us. andi ts a silent joy, to know that God's done it all for us, and we dont need to serve, we dont need to moderate our behavoir to get god's blessings. God's blessings flow apart from our performance. amen.
thank you for the cross, lord jesus.
d: no worries. :)
