hey all. i'm back from my trip to bintan. i really didnt wanna go cause i would miss church and all. but yea, was really boring, but there were fun times such as swimming in the sea with the huge waves. i took some pictures, but i look too skinny, so i'm not gonna post them up. spent half the trip learning how to fix the rubik's cube. yea its not much, cause i know many people can fix, but hey its an acclompishment! heh. yea i've got two more things to blog about. so yea.
many people have been complaining that last year's youth camp was boring, thus this year's youth camp will be the same, so they dont wanna go. i cant do anything to change your decision. but i'd like to say this. how can you base your choice of attending this year's camp on your opinion of last year's? i dont deny last year was one of the less fun youth camps. but so what? you cant expect youth camp to be like two years ago, where everything was fun. you want it to be the same? then there's two things you can do:
1. go find a video a video of that camp 2 years ago and go watch it, and imagine you were there
2. you come for this year's youth camp, and try to make it the best. not best comparable to the other camps, but the best that it can be. there will only be one 2005 youth camp, and there's also only one 2007 youth camp.
i detest you people who say that this camp will be boring and blah blah blah. sure, we all want youth camps to be fun, but if you're looking for fun, then go play your computer. you come to the camp casue you want a new experience with god. its also written, "seek first the kingdom of god, and everything else you desire will be given to you." go to this year's youth camp with any open heart, with no opinion on how this year's camp will turn out, and just seek god, and when its time to have fun, then we will. i'm crazy by nature, and i'm really positive that this year's camp will be good. because
i choose to make it good. many of you say you have no friends who are going, but i ask you. are you going to youth camp cause of your friends ? if you are, then you might as well go to mirc and find friends, or wait till next year and meet all your friends in school. youth camp will be fun, i know it. so far, i've convinced 5 people to go for the camp, justin, ethel, corn, francesca, joseph chua. will you increase this number? i hope so. if you're reading this and you're already going, good for you. :D
youth camp is in 4 days and i cant wait!! :D anyone who needs the camp list of what to bring just IM me, i'll send it to you. anyway guys, go listen to mr brightside. i know its a super old song, but its really nice. its by the killers.
